FineLine Snagging Services offers a tiered pricing structure based on property size, with four packages designed to match different home types: Apartment/Duplex, Mid Size/Semi-Detached, Family, and Executive/Custom Build. Each tier scales in scope and price according to the number of rooms and overall square meter size of the property, ensuring homeowners pay for a level of detail appropriate to their property.
In addition to the core inspection packages, clients have the option to add a Re-Inspection, allowing FineLine Snagging to return and verify that flagged defects have been properly rectified by the developer or contractor before final sign-off.
Re-Inspections are charged at a flat rate of €100, however a discounted rate of €80 applies if the re-inspection is booked at the same time as the snag inspection.
Additional socket testing and floor-level check can be booked alongside your inspection for a flat rate of €30
Frequently Asked Questions
What if my home doesn't fit into a tier?
If your home doesn't fit into one of the listed tiers, or has an unusual layout, please contact us via E-mail with your contact details as well as details such as number of rooms, square meterage and any other details you deem useful about your property. You will receive a personalised quote for your property as soon as possible.
What happens if no snags are found?
Although most newly built homes are built to an excellent standard, many defects can be overlooked during the building process. On the very rare occasion that none or less than 5 minor defects are found, you will receive half the paid amount back.
Payment is made via bank transfer only. Once the client has agreed on a price and inspection date, bank details will be sent via E-mail. Payment must be made prior to the inspection date and a booking is only confirmed once payment has been received.
What payment methods are accepted for bookings?
The snag report will be sent as a digital PDF file typically 6-12 hours after the inspection has been completed. If there is an issue or unexpected delay with the delivery of the report you will be notified accordingly.
