A Little Bit About Us
FineLine Snagging was founded on the belief that every new-build homeowner deserves someone in their corner who actually knows what to look for and isn't afraid to say it. With years of experience working hands-on in construction as snagging repairmen, going in after the fact to fix the defects that inspections missed or clients weren't listened to about, we saw first-hand exactly where the process breaks down for homeowners.
Too often, snagging is treated as a box-ticking exercise. Important defects get missed because the person inspecting doesn't have real construction experience. They know what to look for on a checklist, but not what a rushed install or a corner-cutting shortcut actually looks like on site. We've seen it first-hand, over and over.
We also recognize how intimidating the process can be for homeowners. Clients would flag something that didn't look right, only to be brushed off or spoken to in a way that made them feel like they didn't know what they were talking about. Buying a new home should be exciting, not a process where you feel like you have to fight to be taken seriously.
That's why FineLine Snagging was started. We wanted to build a snagging service that combines real, on-the-ground construction knowledge with a genuine commitment to listening to the client. You should get to know your home fully, inside and out, and your concerns are valid.
About Our Approach
Every inspection is carried out the way we would want one done for our own home. Thorough, honest, and without cutting corners.
We take the time to explain what we find, answer your questions, and make sure you feel confident and informed throughout the process, not intimidated by it.

Reporting
We've worked on-site, fixing both snag reports and the defects that get missed. We know what to look for because we've seen what happens when things are rushed, poorly finished, or done to the bare minimum standard, not just what a generic inspection form tells us to check.
If you've noticed something that concerns you, it gets looked at and taken seriously. No exceptions. This is your home, and your instincts matter.
FineLine Snagging works for you, not the developer or builder. There's no conflict of interest. Our only job is to make sure your home is right before you sign off on it.
No overly-complicated or vague notes. You'll get a clear report explaining exactly what's wrong, why it matters, and what needs to happen next.
